Is visiting America’s National Parks on your bucket list? If so Regal Air can help you get to on the same day! With our float equipped aircraft we can safely and reliably make this dream become a reality.
The day starts at our office on the shores of Lake Hood Seaplane base. Once you board the plane your pilot/guide will take you across the Cook Inlet and over the Alaska Mountain Range into Lake Clark National Park. At Lake Clark National Park you will you stop at Twin Lakes at Dick Proenneke’s Cabin. Mr. Proenneke built this cabin in 1968 using only hand tools. Have a look at some more information about this Historical Landmark https://www.nps.gov/lacl/planyourvisit/visit-proenneke-cabin.htm
(LCNP Stamps available on site)
From Twin Lakes you will continue southwest towards the Alaska Peninsula into Katmai National Park. From Late June to Mid September Brooks Camp is known for its world class bear viewing. When you land at Brooks Camp you will be directed to the visitors center where a KNP Ranger will give you a safety briefing about Brooks Camp and the bears. After the briefing you are free to walk up to the waterfall where the brown bears will be feeding on salmon.
